Genting Trip with DMB

Genting is really not a very fun place for someone who do not gamble. But this trip has been wonderful for me because of the wonderful company of Dunearn Military Band members!!! Plus the feeling of playing in a school band once again... I must say that it is great!

Remember that when the band members reached Genting, discipline is still bit of a problem... the kdis just can't stop talking. But after a while, everyone has learnt to keep quiet when necessary and I'm really proud of the level of discipline that the band has displayed during this trip.

The performance of the band during the competition was ok. But the performance during the friendship concert was great. It was the last item of the day and we were receiving shouts of "ENCORE" at the end of the performance. Thanks God that it was a great performance or else it would be quite a wasted trip. Also thank God that it didn't rain when we were out in the theme park.

Really enjoyed the great company during the trip. Went outdoor theme park with the conductor, Mr Louis Yeo, and 2 of the teachers-in-charge, Miss Foo and Miss Tan. And we even joined the Sec 4s in their adventures later on. On another occasion, I also played bowling with the Sec 1s. It was great fun.

Just want to thank Mr Beh, Ms Foo and Ms Tan for their help. Also thanks to Mr Louis Yeo for the great fun. Also thanks to each and every band member for giving me a wonderful memory in Genting.

Nights out with ex-colleagues

Another outing with my ex-colleagues from Dunearn Sec. We went to watch "Tourista". It was a scary, bloody and gory movie... not recommended for the faint-hearted. After that we went drinking at TCC, then went COCA for buffet steamboat dinner. And finally went Jewel Box on top of Mount Faber for a drink.

It was an enjoyable night!
